RefWorks Guide: 2.1 Adding references from Library Search & LibKey

Importing references from Library Search 

1. Perform your search from the library website

2. Click on the RefWorks icon for the citation you want to put into your RefWorks account.

RefWorks will open in a new window. Choose the folder you'd like to put your reference into and click on Import.

 

You can select multiple records using the tick boxes next to each result. Send them to RefWorks from the "Push to" actions menu (three horizontal dots ... ) and choose RefWorks  Send to RefWorks icon - grey page with top righ-hand corner turned over.

You can also use this method to export from your Library favourites under the pin icon  Favorites icon - image of drawing pin .

Adding references using LibKey Nomad button

Install the LibKey Nomad browser extension for quick access to our subscribed content from journal websites and some public databases (PubMed for example).

LibKey Nomad displays a button in your browser when it can offer access to content.

Export a reference from the LibKey Nomad button using the Export Citation function (mortar board icon), as shown in the image below:
