One of the many resources we have available to students of Building and Quantity Surveying is the Building Cost Information Service (BCIS) database available from RICS.

This independent professional database provides up to date benchmarking data to help you determine what a building project should cost right from the start. It is an essential resource for both anyone studying or working as a surveyor.

The first time you use it you will need to register using this link: https://subscriptions.bcis.co.uk/institutions/arulibary/self-invite. Please enter your student email and select the appropriate email domain to complete the registration.
